Booster™ S

Module with 240V three-phase output. A low cost solution for small 

machines with motors up to 3kW. If there are control contactors in a machine:

change to 240V.

Caution: Motor currents at 240V three-phase are 1.7 times higher. 

Electrician: Wires, cable and fuses must be ready for these currents.

Use with or without an idler motor.

Module S is more powerful with a free-running “idler motor” connected in parallel to the module’s output:

Motors in machines will develop full shaft power. Motors in machines can be of any size within the converters power range. Motors in machines can be star or delta. Machines can have more than one motor. Several smaller machines can run simultaneously.

Without an idler motor: Longer time needed to accelerate a motor. Motors run at full speed but may stall when more than 75% of their name plate power is needed.
